High Speed line scan Strobe controller IHP series

High-Capacity Line Strobe Controller Optimized for Computational Imaging and Multi-Light Switching

IHP Connection Examples

Control Up to 8 Lights and Up to 4 Cameras with a Single Controller

Designed for flexible system integration, the IHP Series can control up to 8 lighting units and up to 4 cameras. This scalable architecture makes it ideal for advanced multi-light imaging applications such as photometric stereo.

Enables High-Speed Switching for High-Power Lighting Applications

The defining feature of the IHP Series is its high-speed sequential control, enabling reliable operation even in high-power lighting applications. The system supports switching frequencies up to 400 kHz under defined conditions (24 V / 300 W load, max. 40% duty cycle, 23.6°C ambient). This capability enables computational imaging without sacrificing performance in fast-moving transport systems.

Simplified Lighting Control Synchronized with Encoder Signals

Lighting output is controlled according to preset parameters and synchronized with encoder signals and line scan cameras. With both frame and line trigger outputs, the IHP Series can also control image capture timing as a master device. It is also well suited for TDI cameras, where precise synchronization and illumination timing control help minimize image non-uniformity caused by transport speed variations. Configuration is performed via USB or LAN communication.

Versatile signal I/O interfaces

Supports RS-422, TTL, LVTTL, and open-collector signal inputs and outputs for seamless system integration.
