Compared to the conventional IFH series, the brightness is about 6 times higher, and the uniformity and clarity are also improved.

Hard coat processing
We made a hard coating on both sides of the lighting opening acrylic to make it resistant to scratches.
The surface hardness is equivalent to 4H, which is stronger than general acrylic materials.

The light emitting surface is particularly susceptible to damage, so if dust or dirt adhere to it, remove it with an air blow or other means.
Caution: Dust, scratches and scratches on the light emitting surface may affect the imaging.

Wide Bar Light with emission surfase of 40mm.
The bar lighting that can widely illuminate about the same area as the IDBA-LEH2 series, which has double-lined specification. The brightness is the same as the power LED used for the IDBA-LE series, but the width of the light-emitting surface is 40mm, approx. twice the width of the IDBA-LE series’ 19mm.
This wide type has a wide irradiation angle of about 140° with high uniformity of diffused light and less illuminance unevenness.
There are two types available: a high-intensity specification that is optimal for direct illumination and a high-uniformity specification that is optimal for backlights.

Overdrive emission
Compared to the constant lighting intensity, it can emit light several times more instantaneously with a maximum output of 36V.
It is ideal for situations that requires high intensity for camera imaging, especially for inspection of high-speed moving objects.
Output voltage variable range, 6V-36V
- The minimum output voltage has been extended to 6V from the 12V of the conventional SAG power supply.
- Output control from lower light quantity becomes possible.
Output voltage control setting
- Output voltage can be set in 256 gradations from 6V to the output voltage upper limit (SAG value).
- Output voltage can be set from the main unit or external parallel 8-bit communication.
- It will be turned off when output voltage setting value is 0.

Various trigger functions
Three trigger types according to your usage conditions are selectable.
The light emission time can be set in units of 1μs (edge mode) which is more detailed than conventional products.
Internal trigger: Strobe light at a light emission frequency of 4kHz.
Light emission time: Off (pulse width 0) or 12.5μs.
External trigger / edge: light emit by receiving an external trigger.
The emission time is the pulse width setting time (0, 10 to 999 μs, 1 μs intervals).
External trigger / level: Light emitted by receiving an external trigger.
The light emitting time is the ON signal input time of the external trigger signal.

- Dimming parameter control when switching types is possible from a PC.
- By switching the data that has been preset from the pattern data can be processed at high speed (8 patterns) dimming data.

Water absorbs 1450nm light and appears black while it transmits at 850nm or with visible lighting.

Sample: non-transmittable liquid
850nm infrared is transmitted, while neither visible lighting nor 1450nm infrared are transmitted.

Sample: bottle container transmission
Visible lighting / 850nm infrared cannot transmit through the bottle and the presence or absence of contents cannot be determined.
1450nm infrared transmits through the bottle and does not transmit through the contents (liquid), which makes it easy to determine the presence and amount of the contents.

450nm can transmit through the PVC and visualize the inner wire.
850nm / visible lighting does not transmit and it can not be visualized.

What is infrared light?
Here are some examples of foreign-object and dents inspection using infrared light.
Infrared light has a longer wavelength than visible light and is not visible to the human eye.
Because infrared light has a very low scattering rate compared with ultraviolet light and visible light, which means transmittance is high, it allows liquid and ink to be penetrated.
As the wavelength range is limited, it does not affect photosensitive object, unlike halogen.

What is scattering rate?

Scattering rate indicates how easy it is for light to change direction when light hits the surface of object.
The higher the scattering rate, the easier it is for light to scatter on hitting a surface, which means it is ideal for surface inspection. On the other hand, a lower scattering rate makes it easier to transmit through the surface of an object and, therefore, is ideal for transmission applications.
The longer the wavelength, the smaller the scattering rate, making it suitable for inspection applications as a backlight.

In response to requests for downsizing in production inspection lines, etc., while ensuring a light emission width (short side) of 18mm, the size is reduced to a short side width of 30mm and a depth of 40mm.
With a compact design on the short side of the housing, the light emitting surface is widened, which makes irradiation at an angle closer to the optical axis possible.
The weight of the lighting is also reduced to about 200g, which reduces the burden on the lighting support frame.
